Bobby Edelson has the all the attributes that you would want in an amazing realtor: very, very knowledgeable & talented, savvy business sense, outstanding communication, positivity, tact, and professionalism. Beyond that, he is a deeply kind human being. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
My husband and I have bought and sold over 14 properties over many years and have worked with many realtors. We had the great fortune to work with Bobby on two of them. He helped us to sell our home in Poway several years ago. We sold it for well more than we expected, and that transaction was a wonderful, drama-free experience with Bobby.
Very recently Bobby took on a herculean task, to sell my mother's Rancho Bernardo home, which was held in a trust. During that time, he dealt with my difficult family machinations with the grace of a saint. The process on my end took over three years, some in legal battles, before I could deliver the house into his capable hands. During that time, he steadfastly stood by to help, never pushy, and always had a kind ear and calm reassurances.
The property had suffered from lack of upkeep and had little to no updating for many years. I live in Northern California, so Bobby took care of all the preparation for sale for me: hauling, cleaning, repairing, painting, decorating…. To say that he went the extra mile is an understatement. I didn't have to come to San Diego during the whole process. Within weeks, Bobby transformed the house (which my daughter-in-law referred to as "a squatter house") into a bright, light filled and HIGHLY desirable property.
Mere days after listing it, Bobby had garnered approximately 30 offers! Nearly all (if not all) of them were very much above asking price and two offers were in the stratosphere. (In my wildest dreams, I hadn't expected that the offers would be as high as they were!)
Bobby shepherded the transaction through in a few short weeks. As expected, when working with Bobby, it was all drama free and professional.
I can now rest better, knowing that the proceeds from the house will provide Mom the specialized care that she needs for many, many years.
